Rita
Rita's leap from a transport truck not only saved her life but that of her unborn piglets. After she was rescued from the side of the highway, she gave birth at the dog and cat shelter. Animal Place drove out and picked up all 10 pigs, bringing them to our sanctuary where they are safe and sound and will never be seen as bacon.
